As some of you may know, ive been battling the old BIG C for the last year or so. Anyways, after being told there probably wasnt any chance of an operation ever, it looks like the chemo has done some good and I am now going into the London Monday for a BIG operation to hopefully cut out the bugger, so I,ll see you all in about 3 months time!!!

Good to hear you're back Medway. You are West Ham so you were always going to do things the hard way but that's fundamental in making you so difficult to kill.
You are practically bulletproof and long may that continue.

I have no fucking clue who you are medway and you have no clue who I am but because of this strange forum called WHO, where some West Ham fans insult each other and the word 'cunt' has found so many other meanings, it was good to hear you are on your way to recovery.

Afternoon people..I made it with a bit of a scare.Basicaly they caught an artery/vein and I nearly bled to death apparently..woke up in ICU on a ventilator and they had to get emergency surgeon in.just been transferred to a colorectal ward today and back in my old bed. Surgeons reckon and hopefull they have all the cancer too, but wont know for coupla weeks. They better have, cos I ain't going through that again! Done my first proper walk with physios to, today so that's all good as well. So on the whole I'm doing well. Thanks for all your best wishes...appreciate it
